I'm getting super excited for the Musical Theatre birthday party this weekend. We do Fairytale parties nearly every weekend, but the Musical Theatre ones are few and far between. This party truly would have been my ideal party when I was anywhere between the ages of 5 and 15! The party guests begin in one studio where they do a jazz and vocal warm up, "audition" for parts in the musical of the birthday girl's choice, and rehearse for the big show. Costumes and make-up are included right before the "audience" enters for the grand finale, and the performers get to soak up the spotlight as they pose for pictures.
Afterwards, they move into another studio where a disco-style club is set up, complete with a disco ball, sparkly table cloths and decorations, and a red feather boa for the guest of honor. The cake is displayed well above eye-level, and the birthday girl climbs a sparkly ladder to blow out the candles! The favors are every little girl's dream; the whole party is truly to die for. What fun!
