Youth Performing Arts School's SPOTLIGHT ON BROADWAY

A Spotlight on Broadway showcases Ballet Petite's Showtime and Encores performers. Featuring choreography from a variety of genres, including Hip-Hop, Jazz, Tap, and of course Musical Theatre, this show represents the talent of our youngest triple-threats. After all, it's not a single light that makes a marquee; it's the dozens of tiny lights together that spell BROADWAY. Without one of the many bulbs, the show couldn't go on, and a single dancer makes all the difference. Congratulations to all Encores and Showtimers. Together, you really brought a spotlight to Broadway!

Thoroughly Modern Millie, Jr. Auditions!

Today is the last round of Spring Auditions for the Musical Theatre Performance Company's Fall production of

Thoroughly Modern Millie, JR. 

Auditions are tonight in Bethesda. There will be another round of auditions in the early Fall. 

4:00PM-5:00PM for Showtimers (ages 5-6)

5:00PM-6:00PM for Encores (ages 7-8)

6:00PM-7:00PM for Headliners (ages 9+)

Students must be age 5+ by August 24, 2013 to audition and perform. Only Showtimers will rehearse in McLean and Cabin John. Encores and Headliners will rehears in Bethesda with the full company.

Musical Theatre Performance Company's GODSPELL, JR.

This past weekend was a busy one for the studio! With lots and lots going on, we're particularly proud of the Musical Theatre Performance Company. After months of hard work, the girls put together a really fantastic show with GODSPELL, JR. Some really powerful moments gave us the chills, and we have you girls to thank for that! Musical Theatre Performance Company's JUNGLE BOOK KIDS was a huge success Mothers' Day weekend! The girls rehearsed and practiced and memorized for weeks, and they put on an incredible show. They even put together a special Mothers' Day tribute for their final performance on Sunday, May 12th, with the help of Miss Sally. It was a fantastic show, and we're so proud of our performers!
